Learning and Development at the Housing Authority is a continuous process from your very first day. We have a comprehensive training program in place for all staff to help them settle into their roles.
During your first three months, you will work with your manager to design a personal development program tailored to your role, existing skills and experience. Your personal development program will often include:
- Formal Corporate Induction
- In-house formal courses
- On-the-job training
- Buddying and mentoring with other staff
- Site visits
- Computer based learning
- External seminars and workshops
- Personal Development courses.
The Housing Authority also offers study leave that can be accessed for staff to complete formal learning that is relevant to their role and the organisation.
