Learning and Development

Learning and Development at the Housing Authority is a continuous process from your very first day. We have a comprehensive training program in place for all staff to help them settle into their roles.

During your first three months, you will work with your manager to design a personal development program tailored to your role, existing skills and experience. Your personal development program will often include:

  • Formal Corporate Induction
  • In-house formal courses
  • On-the-job training
  • Buddying and mentoring with other staff
  • Site visits
  • Computer based learning
  • External seminars and workshops
  • Personal Development courses.

The Housing Authority also offers study leave that can be accessed for staff to complete formal learning that is relevant to their role and the organisation.
