The North-West Aboriginal Housing Fund aims to create pathways towards social and economic independence and wellbeing for Aboriginal people in the Pilbara and Kimberley.
The Fund will invest in projects that will increase affordable, suitable and stable housing options, increase opportunities for educational attainment and job stability and empower Aboriginal people and communities. It will support hundreds of Aboriginal people to move into transitional housing, private rental accommodation or home ownership.
In April this year the North-West Aboriginal Housing Fund called for potential partners to submit ideas that would contribute to the further achievement of Fund outcomes in the North-West. Dozens of innovative ideas were received through a Request for Expressions of Interest process which closed on 31 May 2019.
Completing Stage 1, the evaluation panel assessed EOI submissions against the evaluation criteria to recommend those for shortlisting to Stage 2. This assessment highlighted which proposals were in-scope and would have the highest likelihood of achieving Fund outcomes.
To find out which submissions have been progressed to Stage 2, visit www.communities.wa.gov.au/NWAHF or for further information email firstname.lastname@example.org. The North-West Aboriginal Housing Fund is a State Government initiative proudly supported by Royalties for Regions and the Australian Government.
