Housing is no longer seeking expressions of interest from landlords wishing to participate in the Rental Pathways Scheme. If you are a landlord, and have a property available for lease, we encourage you to visit the Assisted Rental Pathways Pilot
page to find out more about this opportunity.
What is the Rental Pathways Scheme?
The scheme assists eligible tenants to transition from public housing into private rental accommodation. The scheme aims to provide tenants with the tools to secure and maintain a successful tenancy in the private market.
The benefits for home owners include guaranteed rental income for the term of the lease. The Housing Authority also pays an annual up-front payment to home owners and compensates for property damage at the end of the lease that is not covered by the tenant’s bond (up to $5,000).
