A new development in the Perth metropolitan suburb of Ferndale is set to become an example of best-practice, innovative and affordable medium-density residential living.
Located on the former Kinlock Primary School site, the vision for the Kinlock Infill Development Project is to create a high quality, inviting urban community with established trees and public open spaces that positively contribute to the character and future of Ferndale.
The Kinlock Project is seeking to transform the local housing market by providing greater housing affordability and diversity in the area, while affording the opportunity to showcase a development that is contemporary, well-designed, environmentally considerate and community focused. It will transform the area into a vibrant community with public open space that incorporates the existing trees and natural attributes of the site.
The Department of Communities is undertaking a procurement process to identify a suitable developer or consortium to provide development management services for the project, with a Request for Proposals opportunity released on Tenders WA on Friday 22 June and closing Thursday 30 August 2018 at 2.30pm WST.
