The Department of Communities is collaborating with LWP Group to develop the 19.9ha Treeby landholding.
Treeby is located approximately 26 kilometres south of the Perth CBD with easy access via the Kwinana Freeway and Armadale Road. Treeby is located just under two kilometres from Cockburn train station and bus interchange making public transport easily accessible.
The mixed density development will offer a range of price points and dwelling types to create a vibrant and diverse community.
The Treeby Project will increase the number of affordable housing opportunities in the southern metropolitan corridor, while leveraging existing transport infrastructure including the nearby Cockburn train station, bus routes, freeway and main arterial roads. Treeby will be supported by established amenities including Cockburn Central Secondary Activity Centre, local primary and secondary schools, recreation spaces, Fiona Stanley Hospital and Murdoch University.
Treeby will incorporate easily accessible pedestrian and cycling routes to provide a connection to surrounding areas.
