Safe tenancy
The Residential Tenancies Act (the Act) applies to all tenants and client agencies who are part of the Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) program, which is administered by the Department of Communities.
The Act provides support to tenants who are at risk of, or experiencing family and domestic violence.
Your employer is aware of the safe tenancy provisions and their policies and procedures may affect how the provisions are implemented.
If you live in a GROH property and have any questions about the safe tenancy provisions, we encourage you to speak with your employer to receive the right advice for your circumstances.
