Aboriginal Economic Development

Aboriginal Economic Development

The Housing Authority (Housing) is committed to enhancing Aboriginal economic participation outcomes. Housing expects its contractors to have some Aboriginal workforce participation when completing construction and civil works contracts for us.   Contractors working for Housing have been successfully meeting Aboriginal worker targets for some years as part of the Kimberley Employment & Enterprise Program (KEEP) and the National Partnership on Remote Indigenous Housing Agreement requirements. Housing is now expanding these programs State wide.

We have developed a suite of resources and handy links to help contractors understand the guidelines and respond to our tenders.
